EEE and B&A reports

1 - What are Activity Reports (AR)?
Are the means that Producers have to keep ANREEE informed about the products (EEE and / or B&A) that were placed by companies into Portuguese market.

2 - Why AR must be done?

ANREEE has, under law, to:

• Collecting and controlling the amounts of EEE and B&A placed in Portugal
• Characterize the Portuguese market
• Inform APA (Portuguese Agency for the Environment) on these results, which transmits data to the European Commission

The only way to accomplish these topics is through AR that companies provide ANREEE with.
This information is crucial to confirm that targets set by the European Commission are being met.
For all these reasons, AR are mandatory for all registered companies.
With them, we can provide reliable market data.
The collaboration of our producers is therefore essential.

3 - What is the frequency of AR?

Either to EEE or B&A AR held once a year:

In January of each year, where Producers report the products placed in Portugal during the previous year (January 1st to December 31st)

4 - What data are needed to make AR?

4.1. EEE:

a. EEE Collective Scheme
b. Producer’s Type: Manufacturer, Reseller under brand name, Importer
c. EEE Category: Category 1, Category 2, (...), Category 10.
d. EEE Subcategory: Depending on the category chosen: 1.1, 1.2;. (...), 10.5
e. Total Units of EEE in this subcategory
f. Total weight (in kilograms kg)

4.2. For B&A

a. B&A Collective Scheme
b. B&A Categories: Portable, Industrial, Automotive
c. Producer’s Type: Manufacturer, Importer
d. B&A Chemistry
e. Total Units of B&A in this category
f. Total weight (in kilograms kg)

5 - EEE and B&A are to be reported separately?

No. As most of producers of EEE are also producers of B&A, dates of reports are identical. However, as the streams are different, each AR is made on its own form.
AR are made, as usual, in SIRP, folder "Reports"
