It is with great satisfaction that ANREEE announces to all its Members and general public, that our Association has just been licensed by the Portuguese Environmental Agency (APA) to organize and maintain the national register of producers of batteries and accumulators (B&A), established in national law 6 / 09, as has already happened to the producers of EEE since 2006.

All entities that place batteries for the first time in Portugal (manufactures or imports), must therefore register. This includes from batteries placed alone to those incorporated in appliances and vehicles, regardless of the selling technique used, including the sale of long-distance communication.

The registration process for companies in the conditions described above is performed in the same informatic platform, in which were made the necessary adjustments and updated the name to SIRP - Integrated Register of Producers. SIRP remains with the usual user friendly environment.
